SYL AUSTRALIA has well established offices located in Cairns and Brisbane / Goldcoast, operated by seasoned yachting professionals Carol Harris and Captain Eric Pearson, both of whom have worked extensively in the super yacht industry worldwide.
SYL Australia regularly provides full services for cruising superyachts cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Hobart, and Townsville; through an extensive network all over Australia.

CAROL HARRIS
President – SYL Australia, Pty Ltd.
Carol has been based in Cairns, Australia, for over 10 years. She works with visiting yachts as shore agent.
Carol has worked as Chief Stewardess on large yachts around the world, particularly in the Mediterranean and USA/Caribbean.
Carol was previously with SYL in Japan for six years, where she was CEO for SYL’s shore agent activities looking after yachts from 30 to 130 meters.
She still works closely with the Japan office and speaks fluent Japanese & English.
CAPTAIN ERIC PEARSON
Yacht Agent/Captain – SYL Australia, Pty Ltd.
Originally from Capetown South Africa, Eric grew up sailing and soon became a Superyacht Captain. He has vast experience as a skipper on power and sail superyachts throughout the Mediterranean, USA and Caribbean, with 5 trans-Atlantic crossings.
Eric settled on the Gold Coast over 15 years ago. Having been in command of superyachts and conducting extensive shipyard & refit periods for large yachts, Eric fully understands Captains, crews as well as owners and guests, across the superyacht spectrum.
He has extensive experience in shoreside operations and still conducts delivery work as captain or highly qualified crew as well as looking after superyachts calling into the Brisbane & Gold Coast region of Australia.
